Ok. I am not even going to pretend that this has anything to do with music. Mainly stupid people. And when people “missuse” quotation marks. Also I am stuck in the airport and I am bored. MISINTERPRETING BAD PUNCTUATION SINCE 2005.

So this has nothing to do with new music--it's simply a plug for humanity. If you didn't catch this in this week's New York Times magazine, there is a site called http://www.freerice.com/ where you can contribute rice to third world countries just by playing a simple and addictive (especially if you rocked on the verbal half of your SAT, and let's face it, you are in Middlebury) word game. Using the money from advertising, freerice.com will donate 20 grains of rice for every word that you match with it's correct synonymn (of course, you have to choose correctly). The site began in October of 2007 as an offshoot of poverty.com and already they have raised 22,478,677,910 grains of rice towards the cost.
You may think that you're sick of remixes of Cassie's summer hit Me & You, but I'm here to tell you that you're not. Check out this latest mashup of Cassie with Australian rockers PNAU (the Breakbot remix specifically). It's cute and loveable. Oh, and it done by one of your fellow WRMC djs, so holla back atcha Vermont.

This is where we'll let you know what's hot on campus. It's Vermont, so sometimes the list is a little short. Check up weekly to see where the WRMC Dance Party will be at.
Stay tuned for an updated post about concerts - including E603 and Dan Deacon.
Also, feel free to contact us if you are an artist, band, label or distributor and think we'd be interested in your music. Same goes if you're playing a gig in either NYC,
