Okay, let's talk about what's really going on here.

If anyone else has been storing their glittered foam finger in their shoe closet for three years now, get ready to raise it again for Britney. Her new single, which was officially released today on iTunes (buy it! seriously!), is really really hot.

Now apparently one of the first pop artists to frontier dub-pop, along with the Black Eyed Peas- with "The Time (Dirty Bit)," (you could argue Ke$ha is on the frontlines as well with "Blow" from her new release 'Cannibal'), Britney is back with the not-so-flimsy, dark lyrics that invaded earworms like 'Toxic' and 'Womanizer.' She might not be a comeback kid, but she has two kids she can't see, and she's having a comeback.

"Dub-pop" is a terrible idea. this track is awful. The electronic backing goes back and forth between some dubstep bass, and house-y highs. Rusko, stop. Britney, stop. You're not doing anyone any good.

Haha this song is awesome. I'm so happy that Britney Spears has decided to try for another comeback with dub-pop. It's like pop, but it's dub!!!

I don't want anyone to be confused into thinking that this music is good. Just good that it exists.
